Dan James has over 30 years of software industry expertise, specializing in business systems analysis and design, consulting and project management. As co-founder and CEO of Larkin Industries, a national consulting and software development firm, his long client list includes 3M Corp, Fireman's Fund, and PROptions.

Since 2000, Dan has served on the advisory board of Semantra, Inc., and is currently its Project Manager & Semantic Technology Consultant.

His responsibilities include the assessment and deployment of customer solutions, including Semantra's Semantic Enterprise Platform™, a natural language ad hoc query tool for disparate structured databases. An excellent communicator and corporate trainer, his linguistics skills combine with technical expertise to aid his corporate clients with the reconciliation of 'semantic mismatches' in their corporate data. Dan is a Certified IT Project Manager and holds an MBA from Rushmore University, with undergraduate work in Computer Science and Engineering.
